Vermont House is a Christian Science residential care home and is registered with the Care Quality Commission.

It provides an environment where senior Christian Scientists can enjoy continuing usefulness to their community and to the world through prayer. The home has 12 spacious en suite bedrooms on 3 floors.

Vermont House provides care in a homely environment where residents can deepen their understanding of God and gain a better sense of their own spiritual identity.

Vermont House is a place where residents can feel enriched, stimulated and supported in their desire to rely on God to meet all needs.  The care staff endeavour to hold the attitude of thought expounded in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy which states “Let us then shape our views of existence into loveliness, freshness, and continuity, rather than into age and blight” (Page 246:29)
